01Introduction
THE CLEANING BUSINESS LLC ("we", "us", or "our") provides Electrician Toolkit, an Android app for offline electrical calculations, reference information, and local job management. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app processes, where it is stored, how exports work, and the choices available to you.
02Information You Enter or Generate
You may choose to enter job titles, client names, job-site addresses, project statuses, dates, material descriptions, quantities, units, prices, project notes, and standalone field notes.
You can also enter values into electrical calculators. The app uses these entries to display calculation results, manage local job records, and generate reports, exports, or backups that you request.
03On-Device Storage and Processing
Electrician Toolkit performs calculations locally and stores saved jobs, material lists, and notes in private app storage on your device.
The app does not require an account, sign-in, or internet connection. The current version does not request the Android INTERNET permission and has automatic Android app backup disabled.
04Data Collection, Analytics, and Advertising
This version does not include an advertising SDK, an analytics SDK, a developer-operated cloud synchronization service, or a remote account system.
We do not automatically transmit your calculator inputs, job records, notes, or materials to our servers. No such records are automatically collected by us through the app.
05User-Initiated File Export and Sharing
You may choose to save PDF project reports, CSV material lists, or JSON workspace backups using Android's system document picker.
Exported content may include client names, job-site details, project notes, materials, quantities, and prices.
You select the destination and decide whether to share the file. A selected document provider can be a local storage app or a third-party cloud storage provider.
If you select a cloud provider, that provider may upload or synchronize the file according to its own policies and settings. We do not independently upload exported documents.
06Backup Import and Restore
You can select a compatible Electrician Toolkit JSON file to restore saved jobs and notes.
The app checks the file format and requests confirmation before replacing existing local job and note records. The app supports backups up to 4 MB in this version.
The app does not automatically create or synchronize backup files.
07Data Security
Local app records are stored within Android's app-specific storage, which is subject to Android's application sandbox protections.
However, the app does not separately encrypt user-created PDF reports, CSV exports, or JSON backups. These files can contain readable client and project details.
We recommend using a secure screen lock, choosing trusted storage locations, restricting access to exported files, and deleting copies you no longer need.
We cannot guarantee the security of files that you save or share using third-party providers.
08Retention and Deletion
Saved jobs, materials, and field notes remain on your device until you edit or delete them, clear the app's data, or uninstall the app.
Clearing data or uninstalling may permanently erase records that you have not separately backed up.
Exported PDF, CSV, and JSON files remain in destinations selected by you and are not deleted automatically when you delete a job or uninstall the app. You must remove those copies yourself.
Because we do not hold these local records on a developer server, we cannot remotely retrieve or delete them for you.
09Permissions and System Access
The app does not request internet, camera, microphone, contacts, or location permissions.
For imports and exports, the app uses Android's system document picker and obtains access to only the documents or destinations you choose.
10Children's Privacy
Electrician Toolkit is intended as a general professional utility and is not designed or directed specifically to children.
It does not include a user account system, behavioral advertising, or in-app analytics in this version.
11Electrical Safety Disclaimer
Electrical calculations, voltage-drop estimates, and cable references are for informational and planning use.
They do not replace applicable electrical codes, manufacturer specifications, or a qualified professional's judgment. Verify values before carrying out electrical work or safety-critical installations.
12Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this policy if app functions, data practices, or legal requirements change.
The effective or updated date will be revised accordingly. Where applicable, the current version will be made available within the app and on the published privacy policy page.
